Turning Loss into Purpose
Tuesday, Apr. 15
It can be difficult to find your way following the death of a loved one. By creating purpose and meaning from the experience, hearts can heal. Presenter Christine Scott founded The Wings of Love Memorial Fund, a program of the WNY Perinatal Bereavement Network, Inc. seven years ago following the loss of her son, Jacob. Since then, her program and the Network have helped thousands of bereaved parents with their grief. You will be inspired with ways both big and small of how you can make a difference in honor of your loved one's memory.
Techniques for Navigating Big Change
Tuesday, May 20
Change is hard, whatever the cause. The good news is that change has a predictable pattern. In this workshop, you’ll become familiar with this pattern and learn powerful strategies to help you navigate your way through the big changes that the loss of a loved one can bring. You’ll leave feeling relieved and more in control, with a clearer understanding of what’s to come; better equipped to move through the rough spots. Presenter Linda Bucher is a master certified life coach, whose training and journey through great adversity and change has led to her purpose: guiding and teaching others to create lives they love.
